Recently the SSI (Scuba Schools International) located in Boulder, Colorado, EEUU, announced is distributed throughout its surface but not as they already thought.
After studying carefully, they have discovered that water on moon is during day and night but they say that that does not mean we can access to it easily.
Investigation from published on Nature Geoscience magazine , could help us understand how has water appeared on the satelite and different ways we could potentially use it. If it had and easy access, they could use as potable water, turned into hydrogen and oxygend, and even use it as gas to their rockets and space ships.

IF WE HAD AN EASY ACCESS, WE COULD USE IT AS POTABLE WATER.
According to this finding, the debate about the methods used for the detection of water continues due to the fact that this research has been carried out using remote sensing instruments that mesure the intensity of sunlight reflected on the lunar suface. When they detect that there is water, these devices collect the light spectrum, the equivalent to the fingerprint of light. However, this spectrum is beyond visible light, the infrared.
And the surface of the Moon can also be heated long enough to emit its own light in the infrared region of the spectrum. Therefore, the challenge of this study is to contrast the information of the temperature so that it is as accurate as possible and do not confuse the reflected light with that emitted by the Moon.
THE CHALLENGE IS TO CONTRAST THE INFORMATION OF THE TEMPERATURE TO GET THE MOST PRECISE RESULTS.
The authors of the study have incorporated the information of the temperature thanks to a model created form the mesurements made by the instrument called Diviner, in the Reconnaissance Orbiter of NASA (LRO). This temperature model has been applied to data previously collected by the Moon Mineralogy Manner - a visible light spectrometer that can be seen in India's firts lunar mission, Chandrayaan-1-.

The results of the study suggest that water can be presented mainly as hydroxyl (OH), a relative of water (H2O) more reactive, composed of an oxygen atom and a hydrogen atom. Both OH and water, are created by the solar wind that hits the lunar surface, although the tem has not ruled out that it was created by the Moon, released slowly form the deep minerals in which it has remained locked since the formation of the astro.
The team does not rule out that the water may come from deep minerals enclosed since the star was formed.
THOUGHTS:
Considering there is water on Moon, there's a possiblity that vegetables and fruits can be grown creating oxygen then and being able to build new population there.
ALSO, we have to highlight that gravity on earth is exactly 9,807 m/s², whereas Moon's gravity is 1,62 m/s² being 6,0537037 times smaller, the momentum done on moon would increase 6,05 times.
Building space stations on moon, would allow us to take advantage of its gravity and be able to get to other planets like Mars more easily and faster.
